Safety and Security, that’s what we do. Peace of mind, that’s what we provide. However, we do more than just provide these things; we provide it pleasantly and conveniently.

As a company, we know there are many places out there that can offer “security” for your home, but how many of them can provide excellent customer service? I know what you may be thinking, “What more than monitoring can an alarm company do?” Today, I want to tell you one simple thing we do that almost nobody else does….we have a live person answering the phone. That’s right, no automated attendant to navigate through, and we do it fast. You will be speaking to a real person in less than 10 seconds.

Let me illustrate why it’s so important for a live person to answer the phone 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You had a long day at work and you just got home. That work day could have been that job in a board room, or the toughest job of all… handling your beloved rug rats and preparing dinner while juggling laundry and mopping the floors. You relax and quietly reflect on your life while simultaneously looking forward to the pleasant dreams you’ll have while your body prepares for the next morning to get up and do it all over again. It’s been a long day. You head to bed and close your eyes.  You start to drift off to a rewarding and relaxing sleep… then you hear beeping.

Wiping the sleep from your eyes, you see that the clock says 2:17 a.m. You then realize and are surprised that it’s your home security alarm system making the beep… it never does this! So you reach for the telephone to call your alarm company. You dial, the phone rings once, a smile answers on the other side of the line in just a few rings… no annoying robots to navigate through to reach a person to help you. No automated message telling you to call back between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. There is simply a friendly and knowledgeable person that tells you what to do to get back to sleep. They walk you through how to easily reset your system in less than 10 seconds and explain that you have a low battery in one of your contacts. The Protection 1 representative then schedules for a technician to come to your home tomorrow to fix the problem.

Problem solved! Good night and get some sleep… we will be here when you need us.
