Welcome to another installment of P1’s Community Spotlights! In Community Spotlights, we interview some of our amazing P1 teammates who are volunteering or contributing to their local communities in a positive way. Today, we are putting the spotlight on Danielle Ambrosino, our branch administrator in New Jersey who has been a part of the P1 family for the past 4 years. Danielle is working with The Children’s Therapy Center.
Here’s what Danielle had to say:
P1: What organization do you support and what do they do?
Danielle: I support the Children’s Therapy Center, a non-profit organization that “provides creative education and advanced therapies to children with developmental disabilities while lending support to their families”. It started out helping children with Cerebral Palsy but it has grown to help out children with many different types of disabilities. Currently, they are fundraising to create an educational program for students up to 21 years old (right now, their programs go to age 13).
P1: What is your role in the organization?
Danielle: I am a supporter of the Center. My nephew, Dean, has cerebral palsy and is a student at the Center.
P1: Is there a specific event you would like to talk about?
Danielle: On June 4, 2014, The Children’s Therapy Center will host its 21st Annual Gala Dinner Dance and Silent Auction – Grow. The CTC is a non-profit organization that provides creative education and advanced therapies for children with developmental disabilities while lending support to their families and this is a big fundraiser for them. They are currently looking for donations for their silent auction and have a number of sponsorship opportunities.
P1: Where can we go to learn more about the CTC?
Danielle: Their website is www.thechildrenstherapycenter.com
P1: Anything else you’d like to add?
Danielle: More information can be found in this flyer:
